Using Special Uninstaller

Special Uninstaller is a Final Uninstaller plug-in that is specifically designed to safely and effectively uninstall software that involve complicated uninstall procedures, for example, anti-virus programs, spyware programs and programs in Adobe series, etc. This article describes how to use Special Uninstaller to remove those "difficult" programs.

Note: Special Uninstaller database currently contains 61 supported programs. If the supported program you want to uninstall does not show up on your Special Uninstaller list, see Adding Supported Programs to Special Uninstaller first.

Uninstall Anti-virus Programs

  1. To uninstall anti-virus programs completely, please get into safe mode first.

    Note: If you don't know how to get into safe mode, see Getting into Windows Safe Mode.

  2. Open Final Uninstaller and click Special Uninstall.



  3. Now you open Special Uninstaller. Double click on the anti-virus program you want to uninstall in the software list.



  4. Click at the bottom of the interface.

  5. Click to confirm removal of the anti-virus software.



  6. When the cleaning process finish, click .

Uninstall Other Programs

  1. Open Final Uninstaller and click Special Uninstall.



  2. Now you open Special Uninstaller. Double click on the program you want to uninstall in the software list.



  3. Click at the bottom of the interface.

  4. Click to confirm removal of the software.



  5. When the cleaning process finishes, click .
