Final Uninstaller can be configured to automatically check for updates to the application. This article shows you how to configure Final Uninstaller for automatic updates and to manually check for updates, if desired.
By default, Final Uninstaller is configured to automatically check for updates for itself.
When an update is available, the Update dialog is automatically displayed and the new update files are automatically downloaded.
To install Final Uninstaller update files, you must quit Final Uninstaller first. To close Final Uninstaller and install this update, click .
After Final Uninstaller restarts, all updated versions of Final Uninstaller components are available. Click to complete the update and close the dialog box.
Manually check for updates
At any time, you can check for updates.
To manually check for a Final Uninstaller update, click Online Update at the bottom of the Final Uninstaller window.
If an update is available, the new update files are automatically downloaded. After the download process is complete, you must quit Final Uninstaller prior to installing the update files. To close Final Uninstaller and install this update, click .
After Final Uninstaller restarts, all updated versions of Final Uninstaller components are available. Click to complete the update and close the dialog box.
Configuring update options
You can configure Final Uninstaller to automatically check for updates or to disable automatic updating.
At the top of the Final Uninstaller window, click Settings.
In the Settings window, under Update Options section, place a checkmark next to "Check for Uninstaller update automatically". To disable automatic checking for updates, uncheck the item.
Click at the bottom of the Settings window. After settings have been saved successfully, click to close the dialog box. Click to return to the main window.
