We are delighted to announce the release of Final Uninstaller 2.6.0.Final Uninstaller 2.6.0 is available for download.

A new theme in this upgrade brings a fresh, clean look and feel. This is for our customers who have asked for a friendlier interface. The new theme is for the Final Uninstaller core program only. Further releases of new themes for plugins will be made separately.

We also fix the error that Special Uninstaller plugin does not display correctly under Windows 2000.

Minor Update to Final Uninstaller: 2.5.7

A minor update to Final Uninstaller has been released. It’s available here for download. The following list describes the changes that were made to the Final Uninstaller 2.5.7:

Upgrade Registry Cleaner plugin to version 3.0.0
Add update function within CR.dll
Fix inaccurate boot record of Final Uninstaller after system reboot

Besides, we make some changes when uninstalling Rank 2 software. The new procedure is:

Final Uninstaller will run the original uninstaller of Rank 2 software first.
After system reboot, the Rank 2 software will be shown under remnants list.
The leftover files of the uninstalled Rank 2 software can be deleted by clicking “Clean”.
